[서울=RNX뉴스] 박은경 기자 = Donald Trump Receives Warning Letter Signed by Over 660 Retailers With the ongoing trade war between the United States and China, American companies have written a letter to Trump, urging for a cease-fire.

The letter, organized by the “Tariffs Hurt the Heartland” coalition, is backed by a number of big names such as Walmart, Target and Costco.

via Tariffs Hurt the Heartland The companies reaffirmed that they recognize a need for change, but asked Trump to consider a different route that doesn’t involve tariffs.

via Tariffs Hurt the Heartland In May, Trump raised tariffs to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese consumer products, such as luggage, bicycles and handbags.
